Service is an important aspect in my professional and personal life. Professionally, I engaged in both intramural and extramural service by serving on campus committees, acting as a peer reviewer for academic journals, and participating in my professional society, the International Association for Society and Natural Resources (IASNR). Personally, community engagement is extremely important to me, and I serve on the Williston Conservation Commission in Williston, VT. This volunteer role allows me lend my expertise to my community in a meaningful way. I am also a competitive cyclist, focusing on the discipline of cyclocross. In addition to being a member of a race team, I am actively involved in efforts to increase opportunities for women in cycling; the image above is me speaking at the Rooted Vermont Women's Weekend, an event aimed at increasing Women, Trans, and Femme representation in gravel cycling.
